Being home, the motherland if you will, has been ok.  I’m at the end of my rope of shuffling place to place and living out of four suitcases. It’s overwhelming.  Since May 31st I have stayed at five different places and I have one last time of packing up and moving and then it’s done done done. For awhile. But now I need to move out of my parents house.  Which I didn’t do when I moved to Atlanta in Feb 07.  After assessing my room last night there is less than I thought, but that’s not counting what’s in the closet. The closet could be a whole new world.  I just know I have my dried prom bouquet stuffed into a box in the closet. packratwhat?

I was informed by my baby cousin who is six years younger, that she expects to be maid of honor in my still-imaginary wedding because we’re like sisters AND family which trumps childhood friends and college soulmates. So at this point I have three maids of honor and one bridesmaid. Haha haha haha ha. My college roommate will understand.  My best friend since I was 7, I’m not so sure. Oh eloping, you sound better and better.

Also lately I am nesting in full swing.  Nothing like reuniting and removing in with the one you love to make you analyze your bakeware.  The porcelain tart pan sounded like a great idea at the time, but why don’t I have thin metal ones in round, rectangle and square shapes? Perhaps I really do need that dough scraper? Why are food processors so expensive? What about flatware?!? Thursday morning before I left Atlanta, my time was spent emailing the boy links to Oneida flatware because the friend’s condo I was using had this simple, yet fantastic flatware that I want. And that’s when life seemed to take a whole new turn. Emails about flatware. Need I say more?
